My name is Asad, and I was born in 1957. After a lifetime of working with handmade rugs, I retired and opened a cute little shop in the Hamilton Place Mall in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Here, you will find an attractive collection of Turkish mosaic lamps, Oriental carpets, and other pretty souvenirs from Turkey and Afghanistan. With the help of my dear friend Eyup Avaz, I have created this website – NomadHues.com – so that more people can learn about these treasures.
My dream is for these fine pieces to be available all over the United States, not just in Chattanooga. I am equally proud and delighted to partner with the well-known United Weavers, the manufacturer of top-quality machine-made rugs.
What makes my store different from the others is that deep down, I believe that prices should be low. Everyone should have the opportunity to own something so beautiful.
